Honey’s puppies eat their first solid food!

Honey’s puppies ate their first “solid” food today!  Nature’s Best puppy food (by Hill’s Science Diet) soaked in warm milk.  They ate it up like pros.  I am sure we will see a growth explosion from them in the next few days to a week.

Wrap’s puppies are doing well so far.  The little sable and white girl has started nursing really well and working to fight off her bigger brothers and sisters.  Watch for individual pictures of them tomorrow!

Wrap’s puppies are here!

5 p.m. – Wrap’s litter started making their appearance around noon today and had all gotten here by 3:15 p.m.  There are 9 – 3 tri boys, 2 tri girls, 2 sable and white boys and 2 sable and white girls.  One of the sable and white girls is smaller than the rest and so we will have to see if she makes it.  I will watch her close and tube feed as needed to give her a fighting chance!  Visit tomorrow to see their first pictures!

The puppies are moving around and playing!

8:00 a.m. Honey’s puppies are moving around and starting to play with each other.  They are getting cuter and cuter every day!  They would walk all over the house if we let them!

We are watching Wrap closely.  She is 3 days past her due date and all the signs are in place that it should be anytime.  Watch for a post as soon as they start arriving!

First visitors

Honey’s puppies had their first outside visitors today.  They behaved very well and were generally adorable!  It looks like one of them (or maybe one of Wrap’s) will find a great new home when they are old enough with our visitors!  Other than that, all the day was spent with sleeping, eating and practicing their walking.

First Vet Visit

All 9 of Honey’s puppies went for their first vet visit yesterday.  They received their first round of dewormer and all got weighed and looked over.  They all weighed right at 1 lb!  The vet said they all looked healthy.  He also said that their walking at 2 weeks was a sign of healthy, vigorous pups!

They all made the trip well, but were glad to be back with Mom!
