We now have homes for all of our puppies except for our sable and white female we call Carmel. She is very smart and loves to play with the kids. If you live in the Austin area, we will coming there to celebrate the holidays and could meet you there with her. If you live in the Houston area, we could meet you there on January 3rd when we come to celebrate with my in-laws.

It is amazing to me that the puppies will be 8 weeks old tomorrow and ready to go to their new homes. We have 3 we are still looking for loving homes for – Sweetheart (tri female 2), Little Bit (tri female 3) and Carmel (sable and white female).

The rest will start going home on Saturday while some will be with us a little longer until families get back from long trips for the holidays. It is always a little sad to see them go, but we love knowing they are going to homes where they will get all the love and attention they need!

Here is a video of the puppies playing.  They are at an adorable stage and I could watch them for hours!

Everyone here at Rose Family Collies wants to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.  It has been a little hectic with holiday preparations and so I haven’t gotten as many updates on as I would like.  We will get updated pictures on this weekend so you can see how they are growing and how we have started their training!

I am always amazed at how fast puppies change.  Since my last post their eyes and ears have opened, they have started walking and they have had their first solid food.  They have also started playing with each other and with humans whenever they can.

We have moved them out to the family room where they will encounter more sights, sounds and smells.  We work to expose them to as many experiences as we can while they are here with us so they make as quick an adjustment as possible to their new homes!
